I highly recommend Paul Voodini’s Q&A lecture. He covers several versions, including a couple with tarot. The real value is seeing the variety of methods and hearing his thoughts about each.
If you want to learn tarot, pick one book and actually work through it. Some people advocate just looking at the pictures and saying whatever they inspire in you. I think it is worth actually considering the accepted meanings for all the cards. This takes a while and requires some dedication. If you want a reading method, I can’t do better than palmistry. Julian Moore’s book. No question. Also Paul Voodini’s video. These two resources complement one another. Patrick |

Paul's material is excellent and the books aren't too long if reading is an issue. Enrique's Tarology is an interesting watch. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A5UR3VesQGo Get out and pay for readings to see people in action. Even the bad ones can teach valuable lessons.

Whenever I want to know something about the spirit world, I just use my spirit bell. It knows everything about Q&A.

I have seen a few tarot DVDs and didn’t find any of them inspirational.
Voodini’s Q&A and Palmistry are download videos instead of DVDs but still not books. What do you want to be able to do with it? There are so many methods largely because there are so many applications to put it all to. Patrick |

IMHO, the best way to learn to read Tarot is by using the booklet that came with your deck. Learn the meanings of the cards and the Celtic Cross spread. Then go forth and start reading for folks. If you do readings consistently for about a year or two, you'll learn practically everything you need to know about cold reading with Tarot. There really is no shortcut.

'Tarot Made Easy' will give you a simple and quick interpretation of the Tarot cards, which will get you doing readings, and therefore able to practice in a very short time. Why not buy the course Philemon? If you don't agree then you can send it back and get a refund! Keith Hart

I've been reading Tarot professionally for over 35 years now (started when I was 17). I seriously doubt that I can learn anything new from a booklet called "Tarot Made Easy."
On the other hand, if you would like to send me a review copy, I would be more than happy to give you my opinion to its merits. What makes your TME different than the LWB (Little White Booklet) that comes with most tarot decks? The beauty of Tarot is that it's already a self-contained cold-reading system with 156 stock lines. There's a good reason why it's the most popular cold-reading system out there, and shut-eyes have been successfully using it for over 250 years now. As with any system, it's best to learn it for "real," and experiment with it for a few years. There really is no "trick" to cold-reading; no shortcut. You simply go out and do it. You'll learn everything you need to know via constant practice.

I'm sure that I couldn't teach you anything about Tarot reading, but then Tarot Made Easy isn't aimed at you.
How about Trickery For Tarot Readers though? http://www.blackhart.co.uk/tftr.html You may like that. The Black Hart

You don't want to know my opinion of incorporating "tricks" into a reading (even though I have written about their potential use a few times).
You still haven't answered my key question: What makes your TME different than the LWB (Little White Booklet) that comes with most tarot decks? I appreciate the fact that you are trying to shill your products, but doing so to someone who has been reading for decades is akin to farting in the wind.

I'm not angry . . . just exasperated.
You keep avoiding my basic question: What makes your TME different than the LWB (Little White Booklet) that comes with most tarot decks? Is it because there is essentially no difference (aside from the extra £40 one would have to shill out)? For that matter, how does it compare to Eden Gray's "The Complete Guide to the Tarot: Determine Your Destiny! Predict Your Own Future!," which you can get for around $2 from any used bookstore (and a new copy will set you back $8 on Amazon)?
