Thanks Michael.
A good routine with a well motivated p*** is definitely valuable. Is this suitable for both stage and close up? Is a table needed and/or is it necessary to perform standing? Any major angle concerns?

It would actually take the same amount of time to construct what is needed, about 30 seconds, for stage use as what it takes to do for close-up, assuming of course you had the materials., which again are easily obtained from Amazon or similar office supply store. The routine itself could remain the same. Best wishes, Michael

Last Laugh,
I apologize that I did not respond to your other questions. You do not need a table. You can perform this standing or sitting. There are no angle issues. You probably do not want anyone directly behind you looking directly over your shoulder I would assume. Michael

I, likewise got this just to see if it was anything practical for me. In my case, I frequently perform surrounded and many p***s are risky as someone might catch it. The best things I love about this is the timing and motivation are very clever and completely angle proof for what I needed. It's a worker!

Can I peek at words and numbers with this too or is it best designed for drawings?

Technically anything... although the routining certainly works better with a drawing.

I am on the verge of ordering. Is there limitation on the pen? Can I use a Sharpie?

I purhcased Classified Drawing Duplication, and as I have said before, Crhis' structure and routining are incredibly unique, entertaining and deceptive. We sometimes focus only on the how and forget to see the why and when. The real value of Chis' The Classified Drawing Duplication is in the why and when. For a performer who is serious and interested in perfroming a clean, entertaining and deceptive drawing duplcation, Chris' thinking is invaluable.

Knowing that Chris Rawlins has spent quite a bit of his time pursuing the range of methods for drawing dupes, I was pretty sure that he was offering something unique with this.
As mentioned, the method is known, however I do think that the handling for this is much better than the others. It is surprising to me that this hasn't been done before because it kind of seem obvious... but that is often how good magic/mentalism is. Someone has to do it first! It is indeed, a worker. Everything is motivated, angles are great, and supplies are easily acquired. There is one particular material that I haven't found the perfect fit for, but I'm sure I'll figure it out or another US purchaser will tip me off. It is pricey, and I DO NOT suggest this for the more 'method collector' types or the very infrequent performers, but for pros or regular social performers, it's definitely a worker.

Hmm, it's very clean with little visible compromise. You don't have to have them write on any particular surface, you never hold the drawing or even look at the envelope while the drawing is in it, so it really negates a lot of the usual methods.
This particular method has never quite clicked for me before, mostly because it required actions that didn't seem natural enough. This solves a lot of that because it's something I'm already doing–putting a business card in an envelope. To be totally honest, I'll have to perform it a while before I can give a really fair assessment, but it's a lot more practical and clean than a lot of what's out there. Dunno, I'm excited about it now but the real test will be if I'm performing it regularly in 6 months or a year. The only negative I could say about this is that it uses a consumable, as opposed to something like a stack of business cards p*** which is easy to carry if you're doing walk around or something, but it's not that big of a deal and it's really much cleaner. And it's not at all expensive or hard to make, so just make sure you've got a few setups if you're going to stroll. I do predict that some that don't perform that much might fail to see the value, especially if they know the method already, so I'd caution again that it's not a great option for the 'method collector' types, but for those that perform, I think it's a pretty great solution for a very clean drawing dupe.
