Hey Everyone,
This is a heads' up that for the past couple of years I've been working on a "Revised & Expanded" version of Maximum Entertainment. I'm making this announcement earlier than I wanted to because word has gotten back to me that the book, which after several reprints has officially gone out of print, is now being sold for some very high prices.

No guarantees, but I expect the book will be available within the next two or three months.

Help spread the word. I don't want anyone to get ripped off by paying more than they should.

And BTW, despite being more than 70 pages longer than the original, the price will be the same as it was back in 2003!

That's great news, especially about the price point.

Making this book as widely accessible as possible helps all of magic.

I have the original so I am slightly jealous of all the people who will be getting the extra 70 pages, but this is great news for all!

Wunnerful news! I borrowed Jon Racherbaumer's copy. I read it, then bought two copies! I skimmed through it, then gave them to two young guys whom I was mentoring!

I guess I'll need to buy the new edition!

I agree. It is the rising tide theory. Maximum Entertainment is a wonderful book. Looking forward to Version 2.0.

Yes, great on you for keeping the price reasonable. The age of $80-$300 books is extortionate and, quite frankly, I won’t support it.

Terrific news Ken, congratulations!

I consider this an essential book for any performer and magician, and it deserves the highest recommendation possible, right alongside classics on showmanship and presentation like Darwin Ortiz's Strong Magic.

For those unfamiliar with this excellent work, here's my detailed review of it elsewhere on The Magic Café:

Looking good Mr Weber! I'm a huge fan of your book, and love to see it getting positive press, and a revised and improved version.

If it helps in any way, feel free to quote from my review of the original Maximum Entertainment as part of your promotional materials, or post a link to it on your product page:

It is still hardcover, and it is more than 75 pages longer than the original, but we are keeping the price the same as it was back in 2003... $40.00.

Dealers should have the book in the next few weeks.

Wow! Cheap at thrice the price! The deal of the century.
