Does anyone know of a source for realistic fake banana peels? I am working on a repeating banana routine where instead of the bananas vanishing at the end I produce my monkey puppet from the previously shown empty bag and pour out a bunch of banana peels. I think the kids will go ape over it. Smile

You may want to check out the looks of yellow pleather materials. It may take some DIY cutting but I’m sure if you monkey around with it, the kids will accept the illusion of banana peels.

I never liked bananas as a kid. Then I learned that they had to be peeled before eating them. hee

For some reason, I think he may be split on that decision.

Yeah, I found out the same thing about coconuts and pineapples.
You have to peel them first.

I found some oragami bananas with a Google search. You can use felt or vinyl and hot glue to make one.

Thanks for all the great ideas to explore!

Another possibility I found is inexpensive squeeze toys like this:

I just bought a cloth banana from Lindas Krafty Kreation: www.etsy.com/shop/lindaskraftykreation

I use it with my monkey puppet. I took a brown magic marker and "customized" the banana peel. The banana comes out of the peeling. It was only $5, and I highly recommend it. You might check with her to see if you can only purchase the peels.
