Which Steinmeyer book does everyone consider his best and how good are his books? Is there anything in print in regards to his Osmosis illusion or even just a close concept?

Thanks for all of your work and help.

The Steinmeyer books are excellent material. If you are asking, are the explainations detailed enough to make the tricks and illusions up with no other knowledge. The answer is not. Example: This will tell you to make a gimmicked stack of dollar bills. Glue foam between the bills and there may be a hand drawing. He will not tell you what glue to use or what type of foam to use. Nor will he tell you how to cut the foam to make a perfect edge.

His devils hank design is 3 hanks shown together and a line drawing. It is up to you to figure out the rest and how to remove the original hem and sew 4 layer together so they look like a single hank.

Hope this helps. His creative ideas are worth exploring. It is up to you to apply them in a way that works.

I'd highly recommend "Art & Artifice" and "The Magic of Alan Wakeling". I'll also say that most anything that Jim writes is well worth your time reading.

Happy reading!

All the best,
