Where fire is concerned nothing is reasonably practical/safe
Can a glass be tipped over? Can fire possibly ignite something else?
Can the smoke set off a smoke alarm?

I guess it depends on the venue where all precations are in place.

Admittedly I use some small pieces of flash paper for coin routine in a restaurant setting where
I feel conditions are acceptable. It's not a steady flame like a card burning.

Thanks

Very true - the flame does burn for awhile - perhaps an outdoor venue would be more appropriate
