I agree with ThomasJ here
the over reaching of the thumb on second count looks a little bit off when viewing the entire counting sequence as a whole

+1 to that item in Darwin's book.

It's difficult to get sleights working without also alerting the casual onlooker by drawing attention. Shifts in hand position, stress, pace of action or speech... are telling.

Do you want them to be staring at the cards while you count? That was a dialectical question.

IIRC Giobbi addresses the attention question, with eyes on the cards before and after the double take, and on the spec during the double take.

I think it's better looking up while taking the double. But from experience and from the reactions It's fine the way it's. There's one thing that helps and most people don't take in consideration, I really believe that I'm showing single cards, my body language transmits that and they believe too.

Good job, Helder. 😊👍🏽

I’m not sure how this old trick became a favorite of mine, but it’s one of the only packet tricks I do nowadays. I’ve played with many, but Twisting the Aces seems to be immediately magical to specs and fairly easy to do, and do well with some practice and a little creative thought as Helder shows here. 😁
