I remember someone who had a QR Code, people could scan to pay online. I've never used it myself. Honestly, it's never been an issue. If they don't have money, I lose a few bucks, but in the end, it all balances out.

The Home Page simply asks me for a "busker name." What good would that do if I hadn't registered yet?
The "blog button" at the bottom of the home page has a registration form; I enter my email and first name and I'm told "this email is already subscribed." When I hit "continue," it says; "Thank you for tipping your busker." ??? At the bottom of the blog page, is another register button. When I tried to use it earlier, it told me it was blocked for security reasons. When I tried to use it just now. It said my name "Ed Rhodes" and my email "ejay1118@yahoo.com" were already registered. I am very confused and not feeling secure. I'm going to my email account and see if there's something there. If there is, they didn't tell me they were sending it.

OK, there was an email telling me how to set my password. But there'd been nothing on the website to indicate that this message had been sent.

Here we go. I asked to reset my password, because I didn't want to use the wordsalad it gave me, it didn't ask me for a password, it just said your password is reset! Then, when I tried to log in, I got; "ERROR: Access from your IP address has been blocked for security reasons. Please contact the administrator."
I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling from all this.

There really doesn't seem to be an easy way to log into this site!
The log in page is hidden at the bottom right column of the "blog" page. (In the same column as the "register" button) Seems to me, putting it on the home page, or at lease a button where you can get to it on the home page, would be a good idea. Also, I don't know why it's blocking me.

I touched on this earlier but if you plan on using a mobile Card Reader:
You could be very well issued a Form 1099-K by the IRS. Especially if you have over 200 transactions (which is pretty easy). |

Apparently, my phone was able to finish the registration.
The next question is, how do the spectators use it? Also, I remember a police officer complaining the "Thank You" on my bucket was a "direct solicitation for funds!" if I have a note to go to "busktip.com," that could be problematic. But we'll give it a try.

Howdy,
Just finished up doing a busker Fest and a great guy wacky chad was there. I my opinion this guy has it wrapped up when it comes to talking plastic. Really if you want to go this route look him up he will give you the low down. He told me last year alone he took in nearly 10 grand in card payments. Nickoli |
