JSBLOOM, take it easy. I’m not joking to insult you. I’m joking because I think this is a funny situation. That is a big difference. If you feel hurt I’m sorry. At the same time you have to admit that the fact that “many mentalists use envelopes” is not a great reason to weaken the structure of a great routine. The fact you presented that as a valid argument was funny IMO. Hence my reply. No hard feelings.

Back to the socks not matching the cards...
I ordered my SOCKS from Amaze Kids (Vanishing Inc.) and the socks DO in fact MATCH the cards. Some of the posted pictures show socks that clearly do not match the cards, but these are not the socks I received. I guess Magic Inc. fixed the problem... I'm not a big fan of the !@#$* that is taught on the video... Overall, this is a Great trick Michel - thank you for releasing this! |

In fact, the two socks of importance have matched their 2 cards since day one. There are some minor differences on the heal and toes and the actual socks are longer than the socks pictured. But, the patterns and colors MATCH. Have from day one. Mark

My socks do match, however they are the tightest socks I have ever had. I am only a uk size 9 and they are so difficult to put on.

I got it a week ago (thanks santa)
it's a great and fun trick to perform, I'll include it in my show the concerns about the socks not matching the cards are gone : they do match perfectly. I think if done correctly, the spectators will wonder only one thing : how did he manage to change his socks so fast in front of me at some point? I was about to ask if it was possible to print it jumbo size, but the pdf of the cards come as a download, so I can print them myself on any support any size. I'll print them bigger for parlor type shows |

I’ve performed this in several different locations now, including in a casino! Always goes over real well! Thank you Michel for this great trick!
Wondering if anyone has cut down on the number of cards used? I’m finding that with the final reveal of the socks cards revealing matching pairs takes too long. Any thoughts? |

A couple of thoughts. I love this effect, but have UK size 11 feet and the socks are VERY small on me - I'd love to know where I can buy some larger ones.
Secondly, I have developed a walk-around version of this using two spectators if anyone is interested. Very practical as no dealing is required. |

Ok, briefly: (will make sense for owners of the trick)
Have one !@#$* card on top, one on bottom. Spread and show the pack face up. Overhand shuffle single card, then groups, then single - now you still have one on top, one on bottom. Hindu force: Hindu shuffle, starting with single card, then small clumps - this delivers first FC to first spec - give it to them without looking at its face, and also automatically places other FC in position so you can now Hindu force to a second spectator. Explain that even though they had a free choice, amazingly the cards match...then proceed as normal. Tip - ensure that specs cannot see each other's cards as they take selections. Comedy potential when they turn them over. |

Thanks Andrew for sharing ! Too bad the climax and last phase with the matching pairs can’t be done here.
