Ok so looking in to all of these apps and so far all of Gregs other apps seem to be well out of date. No updates and no support.
I love the ideas but can anyone say they have other apps of Greg's that still work? Iforce seems to have no instructions now (so pointless purchasing) , Telephoto app hasn't had an update for 4 years and is said to not work properly. $50 is a lot if it only works for a while. Can Greg or anyone confirm he will keep reaList going or like the others, once he has a new project on and more money is coming in will he drop his original customers to collect the cash from the new ones. If you aren't gong to update and keep things working, surely they should be taken off the app site??? Happy to purchase if we can be guaranteed it future. Rod. |

Yes all the ones that I have still work including iforce .
I have an iPhone 11 and they have all worked for years on all my iPhones going way back Gaz 🙂 |

I agree Michael I find both Greg Rostami and Marc Kerstein be the most reliable by far in terms longevity of app magic updates 🙂

I love his Real Acaan and if I was an app developer I wouldn’t support android either as there are too many devices to muck about without and they are pirated too easily . Admittedly then don’t release it to android users in the first place if no back ups going forward . It’s so easy to buy a cheap second hand iPhone just for apps and DFB stopped getting updates on android too after a while . Developers get too much pressure from android users so they ( some ) give in and then the inevitable happens . I don’t think Marc ever supported android with wiki test etc so that tells me a lot . I may be wrong on that but it certainly took him many years if he has caved in but I am not sure he has and I certainly wouldn’t touch an android phone with a barge pole Gaz 🙂

The second sentence in your response said all that you needed to say: "Admittedly then don't release it to android users in the first place if no back ups going forward." That's precisely the point. I spent good $$ on an app, and then eleven months later could no longer use it. That's just not right... |

Well I bought it for $4.99 when it was on offer and it is one of the most underused yet best apps ever imo Gaz 🙂

As I recall, I paid $24.99, having missed (as usual
 ) the 'deal.' In any event, agree with you that it is one of the best apps. I used it at almost every gig, and am terribly disappointed that I no longer have it in my arsenal.

We've just updated ReaList so that you can now customize the icons that appear on your lists to be anything you like. If you've seen Alex Hui's review, he mentions the lack of icon customization as one of the Cons (negatives) ... Well, NOW, you can! This is great for users that want to create custom lists that do not have images in Wikimedia or the images aren't exactly what you want. You don't have to update anything to use this feature. HI well sorry Michael Dustman but I have been researching for hours and these were the questions I wanted answering. Thank you rosariorose9 for your verification.
All I wish is to know how long my app will work when I buy it. It looks so good I almost hit the button straight away.... and then the research started. I do not think asking real questions about longevity and value for money (as things aren't cheap ) after reading many people's unhappy no update available messages to be ' a little aggressive way of asking Greg about support. Seemed more accusatory than legitimate question'. I'm sure its not just me that is bored with the hours spent on the making of videos of magic tricks so they feel like a Tarantino movie rather than actually showing the trick in full. Anyway, I hope Greg keeps this updated as it is awesome and should go on for years. Enjoy all everyone . Rod. |

Just a quick heads-up:
My iphone just updated ReaList to the new version and now I cannot log-in. A new welcome screen asks me to either enter an activation code, purchase or restore purchase. I selected restore purchase and carefully entered my Apple password but received a failure message. If I mistyped my password I never had another chance. I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice but keep getting the failure message. Is it just me? I have sent a PM to Greg |
