Does anyone else have this book or any of the others in the series?
I purchased the first one, "Dobson's Choice", recently and liked it so much that today I placed an order for his third book, "The Final Cut" (I think it's called). The booklet is no-nonsense. There are no drawings/diagrams/etc. Everything is instruction on how to perform these tricks. They are GREAT and creative tricks! The best part is that Dobson has taken out all of the difficult sleights so that you can focus on presentation. My favorites in the book so far are: Invisible Lie Detector - a prediction effect using five cards and five everyday objects Chews a Card - A hilarious card to mouth (forehead) effect. Imagine - A card predicion effect that is truly creative (based on Jerry Sadowitz's Mind Ray). I highly recommend these books! |

Darren,
I agree with you...these manuscripts by Wayne Dobson are a gold mine. My highest recommendation as well. |

Wayne Dobson is a BRILLIANT performer. I've seen him perform in person and I own all three of his booklets...they contain gold!
Having been in this game for 41 years, I rarely add anything new to my repertoire, and I'm in the process of adding two of his pieces to my stand-up show! Larry D. |

You're right, guys. These are great. What I find to be so amazing about the stuff in these booklets is that the effects are so easy to do in most cases!
Larry...just out of curiosity, what pieces are you adding? If you want to keep it secret, that's OK! |

Darren, I'm adding his ideas for the Tossed Out Deck and for torn and restored paper. FYI, his lecture included additional bits of business on these effects that aren't included in the booklets.

I bought the third one recently, and have used TLC since. It is soooo strong! without being too perfect, as some effects that use the same principle can be!

Can someone describe the effects in these books? I am very interested in them, but can't find a list of effects in any of the ads. Thanks -

I have all three. Great books. You can get them from Denny and Lee in Maryland.
...NSA John McLaughlin, not CIA John McLaughlin
