Help! My Happie Amp Ultimate Control died after about 10 years of use. I was going to buy another one, but they are not available. (Should return in 2020 according to the Empower Sound website). Who makes a similar unit - I need one soon! Thanks, Jim

Does any one know a contact for this product, is the battery replaceable, or..?

Does anyone know if just the battery can be replaced in these units?

Hi John........the battery in my unit is no longer holding a charge. I tried to get a replacement battery from "Batteries Plus" but they could not help. Did you ever get your battery situation resolved?

Some of the Happie Amp PAs were essentially Hisonic PAs. So you can use Hisonic replacement parts. Just search for Hisonic + the model number.

These PAs typically used generic lithium batteries. You should be able to open the PA case, unplug the battery cable, and remove the plastic casing holding the battery. Once out, you should be able to open the plastic battery casing by removing screws. There inside you should see the battery cell pack itself. It probably will have numbers on it which you can then search on amazon, ebay, etc. for replacement.

The ultimate control is another story. Not sure what the battery situation is on those.

Do any of you guys happen to have an Ultimate Control that you are not using? I am looking for one with a good plastic case, as the one I have is broken. The Ultimate Control need not be working. I am mostly interested in just an unbroken case.

Many thanks!

I know this is a VERY OLD forum, but I have a Happie Amp and love it. I am trying to get a lithium ion battery to replace the orginal lead battery. Brian Happie posted a video 9 years or so ago about a new battery that replaces the lead battery when he still sold them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pp3nrs_vfps Did anyone ever buy the new type battery? Where can I buy one. Also I am looking for a used Happie Amp as a back up.Thank you.

The Happie Amp has a 12 Volt input on its side. This allows for 12 volt power banks to be used. The one shown in the video is a 6000mah power bank/car jump starter. You would be hard pressed to find one with only 6000mah today as technology has advanced over the last 10 years. You just need to find a suitable one on Amazon or another site and then have the proper plug made to connect the two together:

I never went the "piggy back" approach. I like having the lead acid battery inside so I can charge that and a rechargeable 9-volt battery for a mic at the same time in the unit. I prefer not to have to keep track of another charger. Battery capacity has never been an issue for me.
