I picked up a quarter TUC (Tango Ultimate Coin, not triple TUC) and love its potential. I am finding opening the gimmick one handed smoothly and consistently very difficult. Are the larger coin versions easier? Any advice in handling?
Thanks. I'll happily take PM's if people wish to avoid details in open forum. |

I have a quarter TUC and the main thing is to get the tip of the thumb in the right place. You need to make sure your getting the full 'angle' before you slide, otherwise there's not enough clearance.

Many of the effects in "T.U.C. Appreciation" can be done with quarters. But, there are some that can be done only with quarters.
Some new effects have never been published, So, when you are well practiced with what is available, contact me. One tip. You can keep a bunch of quarters in a clasp coin purse to be dumped on the table. You can tell which is the TUC because it will "hang up" a bit on the clasp as they pour out. In fact, you may have to shake it loose. No one will notice besides you, as you then "randomly" select coins for an effect.

As an easier fix, put the shell without insert mouth down and push with your thumb in the center, that will make the inside of the coin more convexed, which will help with the move. If you push too much the insert become to apparent, just push the center back until you have the right valance

You can also try adding a piece of teflon tape. This will raise the center slightly which will help slide the insert.

Thanks all.
Pabloinus, will bending the shell mess up the attachment of the m****tt? |

Plunge, the magnet is glued, you need to pressure lightly, a very little convex makes the insert looser, try doing very little press and try, until it feels ok, if you have the tuc DVD’s or the download, Marcelo I think explains this adjustment
