Assume this must have been asked before but I wonder what is the strongest invisible thread on the market today.

In my case strength is more important that invisibility.

I have Vectra X2 but wonder if you guys have any other recommendations.

I sent a similar question to emagicsupply a while back, as Steve seems to be working on this more then anyone in magic.

His wife sent me a several samples so that I could work on and test the effect I was trying to see if any of it could handle the weight of a jumbo playing card for a card effect. I thought that was very gracious of them.

Although, I was hoping they could give the tensile strength for their IT, but I forgot to ask at the time of contact. So I had to use the trial an error method, and found my answer.

Magic-son sent me a bit of the thread he found. Good stuff. A lot like Vectra.

There are some thin fishing lines that works well.

Visit an anglers shop and you vill find different diameters and what weight each carries.

Fishing line tends to be shiny. Ya gotta rough it up with sandpaper and stripe it with a Marks-A-Lot.
