1. I was born in Torquay.
2. I was home schooled at an early age; my parents taught me to read and write. When I was 15, I was sent to France to study. 3. When I came back home, I wrote and acted in amateur theatricals. 4. When I disappeared for ten days, a psychic was given an article of clothing of mine, presumably to help track me down.

5. As a volunteer nurse during the war, I treated Belgian soldiers and refugees. Lucky for my future career. 6. When I married for a second time, I married an archeologist. That too was a lucky turn of events as it allowed us to travel together as we both did our respective work.

Ms. Christie is correct! Her most famous creation, Hercule Poirot was Belgian. And several of her mysteries featured archeological settings. When she disappeared for 10 days after her first husband announced their divorce, the newspapers were filled with the story for days. The movie Agatha, starring Vanessa Redgrave as Christie was based on that incident.

1. I was born in Germany but my family moved to the USA when I was 2 years old. 2. At high school I encountered issues with a stutter. 3. My first job was as a security guard. |
