Not the Bridges or Mannings

4. Our biggest successes happened before either of us was age 25. But we continued on.

5. An influential magazine rated us number one of all time in our particular niche.

Don and Phil Everly are correct! Voted by Rolling Stone the best singing duo of all time. Felice and Boudleaux Bryant were the writers of some of their biggest hits. So I guess it goes to whoever wants it.

1. I was born in Isleton, California in 1932

2. I developed spinal tuberculosis (Pott disease) at the age of two and spent the bulk of the next nine years in the Weimar Institute in Weimar, California and later at the Shriners Hospital in San Francisco. For long periods I was wrapped in a full-body cast and was told that I would never walk.

3. Released from the hospital at age 11 after undergoing extensive spinal surgery and learning how to walk, I was transported from the hospital directly to the Gila River camp in Arizona to join my interned family. After about a year and a half, I was transferred to the Tule Lake War Relocation Center.

4. After World War II ended, we moved back to the Bay Area and I graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, California in 1949. For a time after the war, my family operated Ariake Chop Suey, a restaurant in Sacramento, California. I jokingly described this years later as "a Japanese family running a Chinese restaurant in a black neighborhood with a clientele of blacks, Filipinos and everybody else who didn’t fit in any of the other neighborhoods".

5. I would entertain customers with jokes and serve as master of ceremonies for group dinners. After my father was killed in 1956 by a brutal hit-and-run accident while walking home from an all-night movie, my mother and I kept the restaurant going for another three or four years.

6. Needing a regular job to support my wife and a newly born child, I became a data processor in the early 1960s with the Department of Motor Vehicles and other state agencies, graduating to a graveyard shift job at Aerojet General.

7. In due time I was a department head at another aerospace firm Lockheed, handling the liaison between the engineers and the programmers who were mapping out lunar eclipses for Polaris and Titan missile projects.

8. However, I suffered from occupational burnout and decided to quit my job and try show business.

9. I began working as a stand-up comedian at small clubs in Sacramento and San Francisco, and took a stage name.

Yes sir!

I had no idea what an interesting life he'd lived.

I actually recommend hopping over to Wikipedia and reading his page. He lived quite a life.

Redd Foxx was his mentor.

He had the first TV shows featuring an Asian lead.

Pretty interesting guy Mr Miyagi was.

Good choice.

1. I was born 7 Feb 1994.
2. My acting career started in Sept 1997, but my lines were voiced over by Carlos Alazraqui.
3. Some Latin Americans accused me of being a cultural stereotype.

Yes, Gidget.

Her advertising catchphrase was "Yo quiero Taco Bell!" ("I want Taco Bell!")
In a noted crossover with the 1998 Godzilla film, the dog tried to trap the monster in a box, goading the beast with the phrase, "Here, lizard, lizard, lizard!", only to see Godzilla's size and respond, "Uh-oh. I think I need a bigger box!" (a reference to Jaws).

I thought we would go outside the box on this one

Do y'all use Google to get your clues? Where else do you find little known facts? I know the answer to the last one but I don't like only playing the guessing part of the game. So I need to learn how to play the other side.
