By the 1950s, television was booming, and I took advantage of the work, appearing on almost every live show out of my home base of New York City. My earliest television work includes appearances on the crime drama Decoy and The Phil Silvers Show. From 1959 to 1963, I appeared in four episodes of Naked City. |

My first movie role was in Pretty Boy Floyd (1960). I also had small roles in The World of Henry Orient (1964), They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969), and They Might Be Giants (1971).
