All punctuation goes inside the quotes if they are there.

I believe American style is inside the quotes, but British style is outside.

I was awarded a football scholarship to Ohio University, where I majored in history.

I transferred to Youngstown State University where I was a defensive lineman.

Rumors abound that I was an avid partier.

Not being an American football expert, I'll say Colin Kaepernick.

Sorry, not Colin.

I was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1969 under rookie head coach Chuck Noll
but was cut in training camp, having to compete with fellow rookie defensive lineman "Mean Joe" Greene and L.C. Greenwood.

I also worked as a substitute social studies teacher at my alma mater Ursuline High School before becoming an actor.

I re-enrolled at Youngtown State and was one of the first students at the schools new theater program.

Not Terry, Joe or Burt.

In 1979 I played a boxer opposite Danny Aeillo in the Broadway play Knockout.

My 1st movie role was as a police detective in Cruising starring Al Pacino.

In 1985 I appeared in a Red Lobster commercial.

In 1986 I was cast as NYPD detective Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle for the planned TV series Popeye Doyle.
The 2 hour made for television movie/pilot was never picked up for production.

In 1986 I played the role of Lennie in a stage production of John Steinbeck's Of Mice And Men at the Hartford Theater
in Hartford Connecticut.

It was in Connecticut that I was seen by a casting agent from Fox Television and asked to audition.

And Feral Chorus nails it!

That audition for Fox was for Married With Children.
He won the part because, during the audition he simply slumped his shoulders and sighed as he was about to walk through
the front door of the home.

Film credits include: Dutch, Little Giants, The Bone Collector, Waynes World 1 & 2.

I didn’t have much of an idea until the Fox clue. There weren’t many Fox shows back then. It wasn’t going to be the Simpsons and the 90210 kids weren’t old enough.

I will need until the morning to start up with the next round.
