Never met her, but she lives about 20 miles from me, and maybe less. My wife has a cousin that used to work for her. In his younger days he worked in her mother's store, and later was a Fleetwood Mac roadie.

Ah, a sports question. I have no shot at getting this answer.

If it's about American football, I don't have a chance either. However ... some politicians and even movie stars played ball in their younger days ...

Note that the clue doesn't say that this person played football; only that he managed the team.

That's why I added my "however", Bill! But we still need more clues ...
