Wow! How did you know, Cliff!? I thought was being vague enough with my first 3 clues.
Your turn again ... |

I know my Bowie. Been a fan since the mid 70's. What other clues did you have lined up?
I'll try to get a new one out tonight or tomorrow.

Cliff, I had all these prepared:
4. Known for “astonishing poise” as a dancer. 5. Upon hearing Little Richard, this person thought they had heard God. 6. Also earned to play ukulele, keyboards, guitar, and tea-chest bass. 7. Played in various bands but only became successful as a solo artist. 8. The members of one of his bands were known as spiders. 9. He and his spouse had an open marriage. 10. Paired with the band Queen to record a hit single. 11. This person’s most successful album was called “Let’s Dance.” I was friends with, and worked on several record dates with Bowie’s original Spiders From Mars guitarist, Mick Ronson. Later on, I also recorded with another Bowie guitarist, Earl Slick. Got some stories! But probably best not shared with the general public. |

Well Arthur, all I can say is, "You da bomb!" Now I know how that feels. You must know Robert Oppenheimer's story pretty well to have guessed from just those three clues. Good Job.
4. My Ph.D. advisor was a friend and colleague of Albert Einstein. 5. My work was the most expansive thing ever done in the united states and may still be. 6. A man who wanted my job, cried sour grapes when he didn't get it and had to later one up me. 7. I accomplished my goal and it lead me into depression. 8. My work was authorized by the President of the United States. 9. I both employed and killed more people than any single enterprise either before or since. Back to you Arthur. Though truthfully I am running out of steam on who to clue about.

Good clues, Cliff! One of my favorite reading subjects is real-life espionage, especially during World War Two and the Cold War, so I know a lot about Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project.
Foolsnobdy: It’s no secret that in my past I took the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle to extremes. So it’s only natural that I hung out with other musicians and celebrities who did the same. Several people have encouraged me to write a book. But unfortunately many of my experiences are so outrageous, people probably won’t believe my stories! OK, on with the game! If someone else want to jump in, go ahead. Otherwise I’ll post some new clues later on today. |

I got it from the Harpo clue, 'cause I'm a Marxist.
