11) In 1981 I did get cast as the star of a movie made from a Broadway musical. It got mixed reviews and so did I.

12) The same year (1981) I got my big break. Though at 5'9" I am not exactly leading man or tough-guy material, I was cast as the lead on an action TV show.

13) The show ran for three seasons. 14) Rumors flew that the show was canceled due to a lawsuit. There was a lawsuit; another company accused us of stealing their intellectual property, but the lawsuit was dropped. the show was canceled due to declining ratings.

15) The show even had a radio hit song for its theme. The word to the song are meant to display a lack of confidence on my part (the star.)

16) The show was such a success that there have been talks about re-boots for years. The last one was current, but it has not happened. 17) I created a short-run comic book out of that TV show.

You've done it again, Cliff! Never heard of William Katt, and never saw The Greatest American Hero. (Not a big comic/cartoon/superhero fan, plus in the 80's I was touring all over the world ... not watching much TV).

By the way, the horror movie from above was "Carrie." Katt's character is killed by "accident" when a large metal bucket falls from a height and hits him in the head.
