Would someone kindly post the dimensions of a Stealth Assassin wallet?

Thanks.

I am probably in the minority but I did not like the SAW. The size of it is too big for an EDC, but on paper it hits a lot of my check marks.

Selecting a wallet is very subjective. The type and size (minimalist, bifold, trifold, secretary) the material (leather, vegan leather, metal, nylon, alligator), color (brown, black, stitching), the bill holder (10 bills, 25 bills, pocket/clip), number of credit cards (4/8), credit card holder (peek, full pocket, slits), CC chip protector, change holder (zipper or snap), Identification window, and we have not even started to discuss any magic properties!

Do you want flames (manual or electronic), card to wallet (palm or no palm), peek, the ability to hand your wallet for spectator to hold, wallet/envelope-in-wallet or feature Mullica/bonesvelope, SUC feature, the ability to switch card (z fold, shogun), suspended card reveal (zipper or snap), out to lunch built-in, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

As you can imagine, the more magic features, the bigger the wallet. The less features typically means it does it better than a Swiss army knife approach.

So you need to decide is this a performance wallet or an EDC. And you need to decide how many wallets you will be carrying.

And then of course, some wallets have ethics involved! Was a feature added that the inventor should bless? And there are a limited number of folks manufacturing wallets, so you may or may not want to support them. Remember, some companies farm out the work, is it important to you?

Then there are the video tutorials. Do you need teaching on how to handle a wallet?

So there is a lot there and there are pros and cons to each one of those decisions and one person may think is a pro is another persons con.

For performance wallets,
- peek, Jaks.
- c2w-palm real mans speedloader
- c2w-no palm Hermes
- switching minimalist Orphic+
- switching zfold style john luka Pocket Grenade Wallet
- swiss army, JOL large Plus with wonder unit
- Perfect Fire Wallet by Victor Voitko

I own over 20 magic wallets, but I do not own the FPS, shadow, or Nexus, which are popular choices. I have lots of runner ups but the ones mentioned I believe are best in their class.

I do own the Viper, and I do like it, but it fails the ethic issues, and therefore, I do not recommend it.

I am still searching for the best magic wallet, and I believe it has not been created yet. The best one is the next one I buy

Hope that helps.

I am looking for a wallet to produce a folded up prediction from a sealed envelope (maybe inside of a zippered compartment). Possibly a Balducci/LePaul style? any recommendations?

Sorry about the judicious quoting . . .

I really enjoyed reading this post. I am fighting the urge to keep buying wallets, placing me scarily short of the dreaded wallet addiction.

I seem to continually find small ‘issues’ with each of my current purchases:
- Quiver Himber - a decent switching device, but I squirm a little about whether it looks ‘innocent’ enough on a table.
- Hip Pocket Mullica - great for CTW, with awesome included routine(s), plus plenty of extra space for other ‘stuff’, but justifying its large size is tricky
- Shadow (Dee Christopher) - small, tight, clear peek, but not a lot of room for much other ‘stuff’. Not a huge fan of the included index with my chunky digits
- I Hate Kids purses - fit for purpose but the size of the opening mechanisms make switching a little bit clunky

I am growing wary of buying more through fear of disappointment.

Nonetheless, not to be deterred, currently on the radar are:
- Hi Jaks or Peek Note from Secret Tannery
- Stealth Assassin
- Spy Cat pdf from Mark Stone (Lybrary)

I am looking for a wallet to do the following:
- act as an EDC, even if just a few extra items (e.g. packet trick, a few billets, Overdraft, maybe Will to Read/Gossip, Powerball 60)
- a clear peek, where I don’t need to retrieve the wallet to complete it, but can remove it afterwards, without fear - can survive a casual glance from a spectator
- preferably a solid switching option
- the wallet’s size and proportions don’t look odd...

Somebody save me!!

Please just tell me what to buy and I might be able to close this out before I go broke buying too many more of these addictive little beauties.

Perhaps find a leather worker to make you a Jaks/Shogun wallet. It would have a great peek function and a great switch function.

Thank you Neil,

I remember looking at your site some time back, but then lost it from my resources.

I will definitely comb through it again.

Thank you kindly.

That does sound like a mean combo.

Tbh, I am probably leaning towards a commercial product that has proven itself.

Failing that, I have filed this option for later review. . .

Thanks Wravyn.

I still have a soft spot for the wallet released by Randy Wakeman. It’s really well made and strong, but most importantly it’s completely reliable and sure fire. Also, it’s a little smaller than a lot of the other ones. Not the cheapest but certainly right up there for me.
