The point is, similar looking non magic products exist and are widely available, regardless of title. If you'd feel insecure about pulling something like this out of your pocket, then don't buy it.
I don't know what part of the world one has to live in today to be seen as suspicious with anything other than a bifold. Minimal wallets are in abundance everywhere and are nothing new to the eyes of a modern audience. |

I can't help noticing that even my gay friends spend less time arguing about the look of a wallet than you guys.

When oooooooh when will someone make a decent gimmicked wallet that actually looks like a regular wallet and not some weird purse or a wallet from the 1970's, who ever achieves this feat of modern engineering will be a rich man/woman indeed.

Mine has arrived now, had an initial play...
I like it, I feel that the quiver brand business card sized himber case looks and feels more sleek and you could definitely pop it onto someone's hand... with this, I feel that you probably shouldn't do that because of the design, which is no big deal to me..it works as it should, is a nice leather and the insides are lined too which is always nice...I bought it with something specific in mind and it works fine for that... this one is poker card sized (with maybe 3mm each side spare)… if you like the look of it, and have need for a z-fold l**king device that looks the way it does, then it certainly works well and looks/feels good... I don't think it lays quite as flat as its been advertised - but maybe I need to break the leather in a little - we'll see... and some of the ways its described in the vids feels a bit like how things are described and sold on the QVC channel... glad I got it...

Quick question Iain,
How many cards would you say you could fit in each of the pockets? Thank you so much! Best, Brandon

6 fit 'comfortably' in both sides at once. You can fit more if you like, but it's beginning to be a squeeze and the thickness is going to be more obvious the more you add (obviously).

Thanks for the offer IAIN and for the info Christopher. Need 9 for the wild card routine I do. Might have to skip this one. It looks incredible though.

I think 9 in both sides would be pushing it. Maybe once it's been used for a while and the leather is a bit worn in, but not with a new unit like I have.

I am very satisfied with mine. The leather feels buttery soft and it does exactly what it it's supposed to. I found it easy to extract anything from it, but I would not feel comfortable leaving this in someone's hand. But a spectator can insert their hand and 'fish around' and they won't "feel" anything. This is an excellent utility device and the magnetic lock makes this exceptionally nice to use.

I don't really get the criticism on this. Looks completely normal to me. Especially if you put a business card in each side and then whatever you are switching on top of it. It is now a leather business card case.... completely natural. I would argue it is more natural than the leather coin purse they also produce as magicians are the only ones carrying those around these days.
However, normalcy isn't a huge issue in my mind regardless. I'm hired to perform my show, a show that requires props. They should be natural props, but props nonetheless. The important thing is it suspicious.... and that has very little to do with the prop and everything to do with your interaction with the prop and how you use it, not necessarily the prop itself. |

I think I agree with all sides of this discussion in some form.
Almost anything can be introduced in performance if you do it naturally and confidently though imo. By definition what we do is fairly odd anyway, this is the least of my concerns. If the audience is fixating on this, there's probably bigger concerns to address. Looks nice though, I'm glad it exists.
