Could someone offer some advice on replacing bands for a folding quarter and half dollar flapper? Can’t seem to hold pieces and get band in place... would appreciate any tips on how to get it done?

I have the band's from Johnson (both purchased there)...

For a 3 piece folding coin, put the band around the middle piece first, then work in the smaller side pieces.
For the flipper you'll need to separate the small portion of the "flippy" part from the shell first. Same deal after that -- put the band on the large piece first.

Also, see the info I've posted here - no more rubber bands:

I have followed inigmntoya's advice and have not needed to replace a band on my trifold coin since. It has been well over a year too.
