Am I right in thinking Becker released a set of his purses in multi-colours predominantly for a bank nite?

If so, can anyone tell me what they were called? Or have I dreamt this up!

Thanks!

I haven't seen or heard anything about these in a while.

Bought mine many years ago from Larry... Peter Samelson used to do a bit with them in his Stage show.

Thanks John! I can only find a small amount of references to it online. Was it ever released under any other name(s)s? And do you know if they match his black ones to make into a four purse routine?

Unfortunately do not know for sure if they match the black ones but am guessing there probably is some variance in looks. The original colored ones were made by Roy Roth. Larry also sold a one purse version back then with the name "Safari" (predict one of five jungle animals). Not sure how critical a variance in looks would be in your routine?

The purses were quite pricey back then (as many of Becker's items were Smile)

A three purse version is also available under the name Stephen Bargatze's "I Hate Kids" routine but are all black.

The newer Quiver coin purses are good for such effects. They are the same color, but one could individualize them with numbers or letters.

George, have you played with quiver and Becker's purses? Can you compare?

Beckers are more a pocket on the reverse rather ( you still bevel the top ) than the quiver method which is internal .
