I am 47, have been doing magic since I was 11. I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years and have met a lot of magicians there. I moved to Arizona 3 years ago. I had gotten away from magic for awhile, but the bug has hit me again and I am glad to be back in the realm of magic. I have done platform magic but prefer close up. My favorites are Harry Lorayne, Paul Harris and David Roth.

Hi Mark,
Welcome to the Café and glad you decided to join us. You'll find a forum for closeup workers which I'm sure you'll enjoy. Just scroll down and view all the topics the Café has and perhaps start with a favorite or two. Please don't hesitate to post or ask questions of your own as it's a friendly place. Have fun! |

Welcome aboard, Mark. These guys are real helpful and fast to reply. I am intrigued by close up magic, but my exposure has been limited. It always makes me smile.

Thank you for the warm welcomes. It is nice to be in the magic community once again. Being a big fan of Harry Lorayne, it was a lot of fun last night reading the posts from him. I met him at Tannen's Jubilee about 24 years ago. When he is among magicians, he will just sit down and lecture and teach until the wee hours of the mornings. It was a pleasure meeting him.

Ditto, a warm welcome! Don't you just love the way ol' man steve has a magic signature! heh heh enjoy this community, I have learnt so much and have been given so much good advice - my advice is to ask a lot of people about a product if reviewing it on the Café, and get an all round impression of that product, then you can get a good idea of how well suited to you it is!
