On a related note--every single time I've paid extra for Amazon for one-day shipping (as opposed to the " free" two day prime shipping) it's taken more than one day. I suppose I should ask for my money back each time, but I don't have the patience to fight them.

I never have trouble with Amazon. I use the contact customer service chat option and they always fix my issues. I average 1 issue a month and they either refund me the money or replace the item.
The 1 day shipping was never an option for me though.
I still recall the day I met Beaker from the Muppets. He said to me "Meep, meep, mee mee mee Meep!", and that has made all the difference.
