Darwin Ortiz performs Last Laugh from the book Scams and Fantasies with Cards (2002). You can find the trick on page 91 in that book.

Here is also a playlist called Mnemonicosis with several performances from Blaine, Asi Wind (not all of the videos refer to stack material)

Ahaha the Dan White one is awesome, love the Tamariz style presentation. Demonstrating that with the right performing chops, the long procedure memdeck work can totally be pulled off!

Thanks Fredzik. Do you happen to know which are stack?

Hi Fredzik, sorry I didn't mean which stack, I meant which on the playlist are stack tricks, given you said they aren't all. Do you know?
|

Most of these live performances are indeed mnemonicosis or Stack routines, the first one with David Blaine borrowing a deck and setting up the stack is great.
There are 2 or 3 intruders you will recognize from the title (the playlist is not mine). |

Iain, if you want to see what a master of the art is capable of please watch Denis Behr's DVD "Magic on Tap", especially "Stop it" and "Photographic Memory". These are killer effects. And I mean REAL killers where no one has ANY clue. Can't rave enough about it. Anybody interested in the art, please watch and learn!

What a fantastic thread. Seeing Blane perform mnemonicosis makes me so happy.
I would like to share this gem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv-AwkNRwMU Juan Tamariz doing two tricks that are fantastic tricks on their own, but also restore the deck to NDO out of mnemonica. It's in Spanish, but you don't need to understand the words to understand the plot and appreciate the mastery here. I perform this exact routine as it's a hallmark from his book and a fantastic closer for a table set. I watch this video once a week for inspiration. All the best, -a |
