I'm looking for a torn and restored card version and there seems to be many out there. Can you suggest one that meets these three criteria?
1) The restored card can be inspected 2) The card can be signed 3) It can be performed standing with audience around you Thanks in advance. |

Billy McComb had a nice version that fits these requirements.

My own view is that it is more suited to a platform. For a real-world commercial version (any card selected and signed) I believe that Harry Robson's version takes some beating. It's on his 'Magic Under Fire' DVD. There is a discrepancy during one stage BUT from experience of performing this method, it flies by people.

I have done Billy's routine in close up and walk around many times.

How you've actually managed to do the McComb version whilst an audience are 'standing around you' (see the original question) has certainly got me beat! However, for many, I would imagine that treating a double card as a single (whilst at such close quarters), would be somewhat difficult.

It is just a double lift off the bottom of the deck, and the folding and tearing of the double. If you hold it close to the chest when folding and tearing there are few angles to worry about. |

Found a video of Billy Mccombs torn and restored card here https://www.magicana.com/video/billy-mcc......er-rings
The version Harry Robson performed was called Torn by Tabby Crabb (which he didn't credit) you can also find it in the magic menu. |

Nice find on the video Pop. McComb did a great job, even if the card signer seemed unimpressed, ha.
I would recommend Brent Brauns Torched and Restored. Reiterating that chest height right in front of you blocks the view of your bad angles. You see Brett doing it walk around in the video.

Wayne Houchin's version is close to meeting your conditions. The card isn't signed, but it is named. Wayne's version is very visual and is a total restoration.

Warped and restored by vinny the godfather https://youtu.be/ZO_H4B-lSkw
This is a three phase routine. the card warps in the fingers.then it is ripped in half . the cat rd is folded in a small bundle then there is a flash restoration I did this about 20 years ago. only one card is used not gimmick or dupes and is impromptu and is done surrounded |

I second Brett Braun's Torched and Restored. It really looks great and the signed card that is restored can be given away to the spectator.
