Anyone else see this yet? it looks pretty cool.

I was wondering if anyone knew what American sized coin would look like?

I'd have a hard time thinking it would be a real Eisenhour Dollar coin, but I woudl still like to look at it as the bit coin one to me would really suggest it was a "magic coin"....

Well, I answered my own question. In the photos it looks like the American coin is a Morgan Dollar, so I guess it goes form a morgan dollar down to a smaller sized one.....

Noah, watch the video again. It goes from the smaller coin to the larger coin.
It looks like some Inspector Gadget mechanical marvel but at that price, and the fact that they include a special something so you can make your own Nomad coin, I think it will not be as impressive as the video.
The choppy cuts make it impossible to see the necessary handling and some of the clips appear to show a very specific handling required to achieve the visual transition.
Still, for some (maybe even me), the price might be right to take a chance and see if it is the visual miracle it advertises.

Well the "2 precision made coins" made me think that one of the coins somehow was like a flipper coin, except where it goes from a small coin to unfold into a large one, but I'll just wait till the reviews come out, could be great, or it could be just another trick designed to fool magicians....hope its good but time will tell.

Yes, there is plenty in the ad text that can be interpreted as one wishes. Aren't all coins precision made?
Anyway, no intent at exposure here just highlighting that ads can be as deceptive as the magic.
Many say an ad is intended to give the impression or perspective of a spectator, it is also intended to sell a product.
As magicians, we are often disappointed in products we buy because the "business" involved is often much simpler than expected...
...and we think to ourselves "why didn't I think of that". Smile
I have the pre-order in my cart and my finger hovering over the mouse button....maybe have to watch the trailer one more time.

I ordered it. Let's see what this is all about. It looks pretty amazing though. Will review here when I get it.

I’d like to see how this would work in a strolling environment ie how you would introduce the smaller coin before changing it. The actual moment of magic is fine, but getting there is my concern. Great as visual eye candy for camera, but not sure for working situations? I’d like to hear from magicians who have therefore used this in their close up set please
