My two favorites that in my opinion are far superior are guy hollingworths in the hands riffle shuffle with a bridge and strip out and Ben Earl's grey shuffle.

Here is a clip of Ben Earl doing the grey shuffle. Look at the 2 min 20 second mark. Way easier than heinstein or truffle shuffle and looks better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWr5fCoZ7U8
And I couldn't find a clip of Guy Hollingworth doing his shuffle but Oz Pearlman does it twice in this clip... https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/794 Just see for yourself. They are both superior to the Heinstein and Truffle shuffle. And regarding the classic force or shuffle. Learn both. The classic force is very easy to practice! Just do it everytime a card is selected. If they pick it Great! If not, just control it and do a different trick. A false shuffle is one of the best tools in card magic. You should most definitely learn one. Especially an in the hands false shuffle. Never know when you wont have a table or close up mat and are asked to perform. Either a false riffle shuffle or false overhand. Both are essential again...in my opinion. |

I must agree, I really love the grey shuffle, like really much. The problem is, that I dosn't have the money for the Midnight Project by Benjamin Earl. And I don't think, I could find any other sources for the shuffle. Do you know if there is some other sources? Hope so Reagards - Emil Thanks for the help |

The Truffle Shuffle was detailed in an issue of Genii. Not sure which one, though.
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.

The closest you can get to the grey shuffle is Daniel Madison’s In The Hands False Shuffle which I think sells for 22 British Pounds as a download.
Kinda the same basic mechanics but you don’t have to cut again to get back into order. |

Your choice of Truffle Shuffle is excellent.
I do the Truffle Shuffle, and love it. It can be done with cards in any condition (new, worn, etc) and still succeed every time -- the cards just cannot end up in the wrong packet at the end, which puts it ahead of any strip-out shuffle for me, including Hollingworth. As Tortuga noted, it's described in print in the Oct 2008 Genii, and there are performance videos on youtube which give an idea of how it looks in action. Between those two resources, you should be able to learn it from a legit source for very little money. |

The Heinstein shuffle (my favorite) was also taught in Genii. (April 2001)
http://www.geniimagazine.com/wiki/index.......01_April So if you have a subscription, you can easily find the write up via the Genii Archives. |

You can always try Karl Hein's false shuffle DVD where he also includes a Truffle Shuffle 2.0. Its a variation but still might satisfy your curiosity and he teaches his other shuffles as well:

Learn the Heinstein and Grey shuffles and see which works best for you. Some great false riffle shuffles.
