You don't need a demo to envision how this looks. It looks just as it was described!
You will see nothing different in a demo than what you THINK it will look like. I know........I just went ahead and bought it....[surprise:] with no demo! The routine was described just as it appears. Great routine, as is Prohibition. I have them both. I also have a Raven but haven't used it with this routine. That WOULD be a killer combination but I don't think specs will think along these lines, which is to say you wouldn't NEED to buy a Raven or use the Raven you have to fool the people watching this routine. If you think about it, if a Raven was NECESSARY, then you'd need a Raven for Prohibition! Some of these thought lines and posts get nutty. I don't think demos aren't needed for every trick. Sometimes you can envision the whole thing playing out. This one is pretty straight forward. Kudos to both Mike Powers and Charlie Justice. I love both of these tricks. - Steve Hook ps: Hope this is helpful to Mr. Ustaad, whom I certainly respect.

One is instantly clean at the end of the effect. And don't need that special something with Prohibition. Good thinking Steve! And ofcourse, THANKS to Tuffnavyrn (Brian). With kind regards, P.S. Isn't the Café a great place to learn & discuss?

Can someone post an "own" video demo? Or it could be figured out?
I own Prohibition, do you think that this can be a good variation? (i like prohibition a lot). What are the differences? Thanks, Davide |

One quick question. I like cap in bottle effects where the cap cannot be removed by the spectator. Is this the case in VIP?

Cap is stuck in the bottle and can be given to the spectator to keep.

Tis true.....the cap doesn't come out unless you break the bottle.

Prohibition is one of the finest & most modern version of MCIGB (Ah! A new abbreviation is born! ). It is almost impromptu and all the dirty work is done right under the nose of the spectator(s). Both the above effects have their distinct advantages. In V.I.P., the metal cap cannot be removed from the bottle. Whereas Prohibition is almost impromptu with negligible pre-prep time.

I purchased V.I.P. several months back. Once it arrived, and I saw the setup involved, it just didn't interest me. It's been on my shelf for months collecting dust. Possibly if I could have seen a demo somewhere, and saw how good it's supposed to look, I might have taken time to learn it, but since that time, so many EXCELLENT Visual Coin in Bottle effects have hit the market, with little to no prep time.
Would love to trade this, but doubt anyone is interested, especially since Factory Sealed and Bullet have hit the market. I also purchased Prohibition several months back. AMAZING effect. Worth every penny, but, I traded it a few weeks later, as I have no access to glass bottles where I frequent. I always have access quite easily to plastic water bottles, so will continue in that direction. smitty |

Does anyone know if this is available in any form or why it was discontinued? I'm putting a routine together and looking for cap in bottle effects. I know of Prohibition, but am just researching different versions. Thanks.

If you have time to prepare , this in my view is the best cap to bottle. For on the hop Prohibition is the best.
