Are there any versions of the poorly named "Chinatown Half" that were made with authentic Chinese coins? Or at least with real letter / words on them?
I'm basically looking for a set that isn't offensive. Best, Paul |

Yeah, and is there any version of "White Bikes" that culminates with primary and secondary color cards? I fear that an intelligent / "grown up" audience might not grasp that it's just a card trick...

Hello Paul
I believe the "original" Ken Allen Chinatown QUARTERS were made with genuine Chinese coins. I'm not sure about the half dollars. I do own an 1887 silver dollar set contemporary to the general time period Ken Allen was selling, but that foreign coin is obviously a feke manufactured item. I have no idea what the engravings mean... Julie |
