Hello!
Zee has released a lot of new material on SansMinds recently, and much of the coin work has been compiled into Itoshito. Zee is a pretty good coin magician. Any thoughts on his new releases? Any reviews? |

I love Zee's work, he's got a great creative mind for coin magic and his routines are fun to watch and perform. I can't speak to the DVD (that international shipping cost is a real deterrent), but I have the book it's based on. If it's anything like the book, it's probably worth getting if you like complete vanishes and clean looking changes. A lot of Zee's complete vanish work is dependent on getting into N*****e p**m quickly with minimal excess movement, so be prepared to work on it if you haven't.

Ok, thanks. I was just concerned because SansMinds tends to overhype products in their trailers, although Zee is pretty great.
What is the book Zee released called? Is it still for sale somewhere? Thanks! |

Hello, can I please confer in private message with someone to help me with the "offset vanish" in itoshito? I still don't get how to do it.
thanks |

Itoshito the book is a collection of effects with multiple sleights and routines, still available from Zee's site as an ebook. The DVD covers what's in the book with greater visual depth; though I haven't purchased it myself, I have heard this from those that have.

There is an "offset vanish" in itoshito and even with zee's instruction, I am still not able to do it, and I can't get it right. If you watch the trailer, you should be able to see it. Can someone please help me with it?

Apparently now Sandsmind sells an Itoshito DVD... received Project Z and the Itoshito vanish is indeed not described in it... bit disappointed, I guess I misunderstood

Itoshito is not a single effect or vanish, it is a collection of several effects with different sleights that were released in a book first, then a DVD. As I explained previously, Project Z is an entirely separate, but still awesome, project based on the Ukawa retention. That's still a great purchase to be fair!

Oh all right - yes misunderstood. Will get Itoshito later then. But yeah agree Project Z is really interesting ! Already working on the main move

It's kind of hard to not get your fingers to move, and that is the main problem I'm having with the blow vanish.

Quick question for those who have the Itoshito DVD or the ebook - by looking at the trailer it seems a lot to me like nearly all the moves are already taught on the Project Z DVD, except from the Shrimp vanish. And I'm mostly interested in the Shrimp vanish, is it really worth it (i.e. practical, does it look good in real etc.). Is it similar to the Harada hold?
Thanks! |

The shrimp vanish's angles are terrible so you probably shouldn't bother with itoshito. THe effect however, is astonishing - it's exactly what a coin vanish is supposed to be - you have a coin and then it vanishes.

I’m not that a big fan of Zee’s Coin work. Yes they look nice and visual. But they lack presentation. I have his original book, and I’ve tried very hard to come up with good compelling presentations for his effects. But they have gotten nowhere. If anyone has came up with a good presentation for any of Zee’s coin work, please PM me. But until then, it’s just mean less coin juggling...
