This is beautiful! Great download, reasonably priced and not necessarily knuckle busting either! One routine has a gimmick but the others don’t. Very well laid out. Wish I’d seen this before I bought two Nomad coins. Best coin purchase I’ve made in a long time and best of all its not intimidating in its execution. The trick where the coin travels between fingers while your hands are flat had me laughing out loud at its secret. Can’t wait to hear other peoples’ experiences.

Thanks for the heads up, Ben. Just downloaded it, and will post my thoughts after I've had a chance to view it.

From Pipo Villanueva:

On Sympathetic Coins:

'A beautiful rendition to the classic with a kicker second phase no one saw coming… not I even at super slow motions as Ral perfoms it. A pleasure for the eyes to see and for the hands to rehearse'

On Echoes (Hibiki):

''Hibiki' means 'sound' in Japanese, more specifically, the sound of my balls hitting the floor when I watched the routine'

Have now had the chance to watch the video. Excellent. Intend to make the 'Sympathetic Coins' my new matrix effect. Beautiful, poetic piece.

What are your thoughts on difficulty of the routines?

I would say 'intermediate' - not easy, but not super difficult.

There is quite a range. Of course it varies from person to person, but speaking generally:

Sympatheic coins: It is so well constructed that nothing here is super difficult, but putting it all together will be the tough part. Definitely learnable if you put in the work.

Slip through coin: Pretty straightforward, and very clearly taught, should be learnable for anyone.

Coin through coin: Not as difficult as it looks, and Rall has some good tips for getting it consistent.

Three: The only routine in the collection which uses gimmicked coins, it also has a couple of quite tough moves, but the end effect is stunning.

Stretch: Even though it's only a small routine, it's probably the most difficult in the whole collection. Both the first phase and the production will take a LOT of work.

Ringbound: Nothing in this is too hard, but will take practice to get smooth.

Raise Rall: Very simple, should be able to master it without any problems.

Echoes: This one requires a knack (which I haven't got yet) but Rall can do it perfectly every time, and with all sorts of coins so it is definitely possible. Once you've mastered the main technique the routine shouldn't be too difficult.

I think that whatever your level you will definitely find a few things here you can do, but if you're looking to master all of it then it will undoubtedly take a lot of work. Hope this was helpful!

You're welcome Smile

By the way, all the performances can be viewed online before you decide whether to pull the trigger or not.

I wouldn't say "anywhere, anytime" as a few of the routines are a bit angle-sensitive, and two of the routines require a table, but there is definitely a huge range of effects, plots and ideas considering it is all done with just a few coins.

I didn’t say that all of the routines possessed the requirements for “anywhere, anytime” performance. Just that knowing all of them gave one this capability.

In that case I'd definitely agree with you. There are a couple of very quick, almost "bar stunt" type effects, as well as a few multi phase routines, and one full 2-3 minute performance piece.

Sympathetic coins is just lovely. Any chance that this single trick will become available as a download?

Thanks,

Bob

Ok here are my thoughts on the routines after working on them for a bit.

sympathetic Coins- a very cool matrix looking effect done on a handkerchief. The routine is very clever, you are SOO far ahead it's not even funny. but definitely not something you are able to do on a daily basis, as you need a handkerchief and a soft table surface. But the right time and circumstances, it's a killer.

slip Through Coin 2- a very interesting linking coins that is fairly easy to do, angles are not bad for this.

coin Through Coin- I didn't know Rall actually created this! he gives some useful tips to make this as sure-fire as possible, pretty neat, but still takes some practice.

three- this is the only routine that uses gimmicks. It looks great but I'm not a big fan of using gimmicks so I can't really speak to this routine that much.

stretch- This is REALLY not easy. the angles for the beginning display isn't great. It can only be done 1 or 2 people. you could take that display out but then you loos that nice stretch of the hand

ringbound- this routine has nice visuals, but I've been struggling to come up with patter for this routine... A routine without patter is merely coin juggling. angles are pretty good for this.

raise rall - Not a big fan of this. you are doing exactly what it looks like you are doing...

echoes- this is very knacky, works the best with bigger coins. but the routine looks awesome!

hope this helps!
