Gaz - Any thickness issue with the added piece to show all sides? At some point seems like a spectator would notice too many layers for a folded single card?

No more than the rest of the gimmick , ie it has an extra layer on the other sides anyway . Infact adding the bit I’m am talking about it makes it equal all round making it more uniform so to speak Gaz 🙂 . Ps this is only beneficial if you are worried about flashing or showing the card all round otherwise stick with as is .

You can’t show the set gimmick on all sides before the change. You can show the front and the bottom but not the back. So thickness is not really an issue and would never be noticed.

Yes you cannot show all the sides before the change but you can if you add another flap . It makes the clean up a 1/4 of a card harder but it’s still very very easy imo Gaz 🙂
Ps it’s great as it is by the way particularly if you have a sure fire way of ringing in the gimmick |

Well, at least you can show 3 of the 4 sides of the card. Very good IMO.

I just received this today. Agree RNK 3 of 4 sides is good.

Yes I agree it’s not necessary to show anymore and it’s what real magjc would look like imo .
I would like to know better ways of bringing it into play but certainly for the camera you can literally fool yourself 👍👍 Gaz 🙂 |

I love Dave's idea of combining this with his Mystique color changing deck. I can see adding in Blue Illusion to round it out with a box color change as well.

But as a casual performer I’m always looking to find effects where I can simply carry a couple cards in my wallet such as Tornado, Diamonds are Forever, etc. With Revolve I only need to carry a few regular cards in my wallet, remove two of them, fold them up and off I go. I’ve also toyed with the idea of making up a Revolve gaff using either a bill or a business card and folding one inside out and another outside in and having them transpose or apparently be able to instantly reverse itself and turn inside out. I think if your biz card has a white border it would work but I have yet to try it. |

Simple to make the gimmick , supplies readily available in most magicians spare kits except tyvek which is not essential as the original Evolve never used it .
I have sheets and sheets of tyvek which again isn’t hard to get and Nicholas gives some easy sources of that too Gaz 🙂 |

The first Revolve I made took me about 15-20 minutes, but once you make one and understand how it works. I’m sure you could get it down to like 5-10 minutes. Hope this answers your questions! Tyler |

Thank you Gaz and Tyler for your response. Love how this looks and being able to create replacement gimmicks yourself makes this worth the cost.
