Picked this up on a whim. Turns out it’s fantastic and really cheap. Leather with big heavy zippers that work smoothly. One side holds a deck. The other side holds 10 packet tricks in an accordion style that keeps them protected and easily accessible. There are also larger areas on either side of the accordion section that can house some coins or bills. The accordion section can hold gimmick cards instead of packet tricks as well. I love this thing. Steal at this price.

Yes and they are out of stock everywhere. I'm on VI's email me when it's back list. Penguin claims it is discontinued.

Odd that they are already sold out. Just came out about a week ago. I should have bought two.

You can usually get these at luggage or leather stores.

I have one by buxton. Same thing but portrait orientation. Zipper up the 7 card slots. Leather. Belt loop. Spot for deck with magnetic latch.

Https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S28498 I wonder how close this would be https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X3FRQZY/ref......1ZQ&th=1
I would imagine the CC holders would each hold a playing card as they look to have a bit more room with a CC inside them.

That's basically the same. Nice fine (except the ugly color). The thing I love best about this wallet is the accordion section for packet tricks. I've got several packet trick wallets including the JOL line and have never liked any of them. They either discolor the cards over time or they end up bending the cards. The accordion section is perfect. Keeps the cards in mint condition and perfectly flat! The downside is that it is a bit big because of the deck compartment. So not ideal for your pocket. An accordion section without the deck compartment would probably be perfect.

Gotta be careful as not all of these accordion things actually hold playing cards. Especially multiples in each slot.

Good point and I agree. This one fits cards easily. Most of my packet tricks are 5 cards. I’ve got 7 tricks in it now and no issues thus far.

I still have about 8 "Alumawallet XL's" from "As Seen On TV" from a Walmart clearance I paid $3 or $5 each for. They have a sturdy aluminum shell and plenty of room for several packet tricks in each.
I don't like the blue either on the Amazon link, that was just the random selection I hit without paying much attention. I do not remember seeing a black one though.

The description says that it's 4.5" x 3.1" which in theory should be big enough to hold poker-sized cards, but if there's a lot of space taken up at the bottom of the accordion bit, maybe not? Definitely wide enough, just a question if it's deep enough. |
