Is it possible to get an update on your progress?

What did you find worked for you?

Also interested, as I expressed interest in purchasing if you're still open to making additional.

Years ago, I made a jumbo spot can to botania for Andre Kole. I think it was about 10" in diameter and about 16" tall. I am sure just a large spot can could be made but the botania was nice finish.

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the long absence. I have been quite ill and bed-ridden for almost 3 months now. Iím still recovering.

I had ordered the sleeves to be laser-cut (for the polka-dots) out of a thin matte-black plastic material several months ago. I just received them this week.

The material comes with an adhesive backing. After removing the paper covering the plastic and exposing the adhesive, I am going to use black flocking to coat the adhesive. This will do 2 things:

1. Stop the adhesive from accidentally being exposed.

2. Allowing the plastic to move more freely around the can.

I am also going to black flocking coat the inside of the can and the gimmick that hides the polka-dotted hanks revealed at the end. This will be more work, but will improve the quality of the finished piece

As I am still recovering, it will probably be a month or two before I complete this. I will have pictures available once completed.

I purchased enough material for 4 of these, as I had to place a minimum order of $50 for the laser cut plastic. I also purchased enough of the necessary silks and black flocking. For those interested, Iíll have 3 others available for sale when completed. These wonít be cheap, but Iíll sell them at a fair price to recoup my costs and time to make them.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Terry,

Still struggling with liver and kidney issues. After months of waiting, finally talking to specialists over the phone. They are running lots of tests. Thanks for asking. Prayers appreciated.

Thanks! Iíve purchased all of the parts to make 4, including one for myself. The Polka-Dot sleeves were $25 each (minimum order), and are laser-cut. I also purchased silks, etc.

Once I assemble these, they will be beautiful!

It may take a week or two before Iím finished. I will post pics.

I just want to give an idea about the polka dot scarf. Actually it's easier to do digital print on the fabric. You can just print even 1 pcs. I have done so far and making several blendo bag model. Hope it help...

Indomagic - Thank you for your suggestion. I have already purchased 18" Polka Dot Silks in both colour variations at reasonable prices.

Everything just needs to be assembled.
