If you are talking about Survivor:Winners at War, absolutely. Haven't missed a season yet. I'm looking forward to it.

Can't wait to see the blind sides among all the past winners and their reactions. I'm really curious about how long Boston Rob will last.

Boston Rob is my favourite. My first year in College Theatre Arts I was cast as a guy, which I didn't mind as I had always been tomboyish. The casting went by a number grid and that's the way the numbers fell. I knew I could manage, except for the accent, but the director- who hadn't chosen me directly- had his doubts and was naturally very concerned that his show would be ruined.
The character was a bit of a punk, seemingly a little slow, blue collarish, with a Brooklyn? or some B-accent. I used Boston Rob as inspiration for the role, and as a result, had a lot of fun. Fun show, we pulled it off. "The Show Must Go On" was the title. Early on my character arrives at an audition and opens with silence, long pause, then, "I uh........ gots a piece prepared" long pause "... You wants I should read it?" I have some photos from that show I'll bring here later. I think Rob will have a lot of people rooting for him. Sandra will be interesting to watch, too. |

Interesting story magicalaurie!
I bet Rob would team up with Sandra if his wife wasn't in it with him this season. Or he may see Sandra as his biggest threat. In any case it will be interesting to see it play out. I'm anxious to see it start!

Nice magicalaurie! Do we have Boston Laurie for a future season?

Well, an Ontario Laurie, maybe. I've thought about it. Even though I'm in Canada.
I do like rice so that would be in my favour. I wonder, though, how much easier the game may be now than in early seasons. That will be interesting to hear about this season. |

Sad news... Bad news... Okay news...
Sad: I am on a cruise in the Carribean and will miss the start of Survivor. Bad: Norovirus is spreading among the passengers and crew and ports have refused to let us dock. The cruise has been canceled and we are returning to Fort Lauderdale. Okay: I get to watch Survivor sooner then anticipated. Just have to stay away from entertainment news.

I guess this is you guys, then:
"A gastroenteritis outbreak on a cruise ship in the Caribbean has infected 299 passengers and 22 crew members, forcing the ship to return to the United States. "The Caribbean Princess, which is carrying more than 4000 people, was denied entry into Trinidad and Tobago because of the outbreak. The ship is operated by Princess Cruises and is on its way back to Florida, where it is expected to arrive on Thursday morning." https://www.9news.com.au/world/hundreds-......09212272 I hope you've returned safely. I think you'll enjoy the premier of Survivor. Take care. |

Yes, that was our cruise ship magicalaurie. Returned to Florida this morning. Thank you for your thoughts. Princess Cruises was very generous in compensation for the disappointing cruise.
Hope to see the missed Survivor episode on Sunday.

Wow, the war started early. Looks like a season of revenge. Looking forward to seeing Rob unleashed in next episode.
