Have watched a lot of video presentations for this effect. Some good and some not so good. In you folks' opinion, who makes the best one of high quality, I see some that are better than others. For this kind of investment opinions from you folks is very well taken. Thanks Gerald

As far as I know there is only one official manufacturer of this wonderful illusion. The knock-offs are a total waste of money (besides being unethical).

I purchased mine from Wellington Enterprises recently. The workmanship is top-notch. Bill makes a new table that hides the bottom portion. Tri-Section is now one of my favorite pieces.

This isn’t inexpensive. But as with most things in Magic (and life) you get what you pay for. I saved my pennies and patiently waited for this awesome illusion to become available again. It’s a true showpiece.

Gerald, just to be clear are you asking about the zig-zag arm illusion that is titled “trisection” or are you asking about the illusion where someone lays down in a sawing in half style box and the middle is taken out?

Hi Thomas thanks for responding. I am asking about the arm illusion.

Then I'll just echo everything MJ said. Wellington is the only authorized builder and the illusion he makes is a true work of art. Thanks to MJ I too recently bought a trisection from Bill. (I had been wanting one for years and MJ gave me a heads up they were available again!). I've been lucky enough to buy a few professional built illusions both new and used. The pro builders know what they are doing and are worth every penny. There are lots of little details and mechanics that go into illusions that make them work. The trisection, despite being a smaller prop, is no exception.
