Well to put everybody's concern to rest here. I only put food and drink in my mouth. I'm 62 years old and I will do the cube ReStore in my hand by shaking it.I don't even do the razor blade effect and I have the most awesome one on the market. But thank you for the concern guys I appreciate it.
Good magic to all, Eric |

And Pegasus I'm always thinking....... After all I am The great Gumbini😃
I very seldom purchase a routine and then do it as it is demonstrated. I don't know why but I always have to add my own touch to it to personalize it. Personally I was not too crazy with the idea of doing the cube work in my mouth. But I had an effect years ago where you took the Rubik's cube toss it up in the air and the way you caught it was how you showed that it was restored. The extra on my handling I will be able to toss out the cube and they will be able to keep it as a souvenir when of course that is safe to do. Good magic to all, Eric |

Not revealing the method but knowing full well that they are the same. I'm all about finder's fees, royalties, not stepping on intellectual property but if we're going to talk about devalue of an effect, let's talk for real. This one @ $75 15-years later devalues Daryl's Enchanted Cube (which I believe came first in the 1980s). It's a smaller modification of the same effect. Why is the cost that much of an increase? Material cost would be much less. The method is no different. It dwarfs the price but gives less in size. I love this effect done up this way but it's been done and manufactured for a considerably lower cost with a larger cube. The mirror and method don't scream $75 to me when other effects of same method are $40 or less. An additional thought. When watching some other recent explanation videos for effects I've bought, two of them come to mind where there are two magicians sitting down to explain it. Both of them lay claim to the thought that "well, we thought of this effect years ago and were performing it at the same time and we're both bringing it to you". It's possible for so many of us to have come up with the same idea in different parts of the world and used it. When one goes to seek sellable rights, they find out it's not just theirs and have to involve the other creator as well. This was not the case with Oral Fixsational. It claims to be its own effect but the mirror (and use of the mouth) is really the only addition and isn't worth the bump to me. |
