They both suggest the use of the easy Si Stebbins stack.

If you like Si Stebbins, I also recommend Patrick Redford's book Temporarily Out of Order, and his stack 'Redford Stack'. It is is based on Stebbins and is one of the most versatile stacks I have ever worked with. It is my only stack at this point.
