I just finished reading the Ormond McGill Bible of Stage hypnosis ( ) and know I'm even more interested than I was before. From those of you who actually perform stage hypnosis, where should I go from here?
Note: If you're going to tell me not to pursue hypnosis because of how long it takes to learn or some other crap that is going to try and persuade me away from Hypnosis, don't bother. Thanks. Currently I'm finishing my degree in telecommunications and networking engineering. It's summer right now, though, so I've got lots of time to spend on something I would love to (rather) do in my life. |

I was asking about hypnosis in the Inner thoughts forum, and shrink recommended that I read up on the therapeutic practice of hypnotism.
My impression is that this fellow knows what he's talking about. If you're interested in that suggestion and want specific titles, you might consider PMing him (shrink, that is).
There are many tricks, and many effects, but rarely a Grand Effect. There are many entertainers, but few real magicians. Many technicians, but few artists who use their art to explore their vision. - Derren Brown, Absolute Magic
