Being a respiratory virus that is the biggest concern. If that happens, I would highly recommend to go to the hospital. Stay strong Ed and try to eat a lot of healthy food, vitamins, and drink lots of water.

Just saw this Ed, I hope you are feeling better and have a speedy recovery. The whole Walmart empire may crumble without you.

It's hit the digestive system. Last week was; "OK, I'm a little warm, and I have a cough." Now it's; "Someone's droop a flatiron into my stomach!"

Have you asked for a test?

I have NOT specifically asked for a test. I didn't even physically see my doctor. He heard my symptoms over the phone and told me to isolate.
I've got about five days left, if this follows procedure. My doctor's going to call me to consult at noon.

I never disputed that. But to be fair it is far less likely to be this virus than other things. It is not as if the ONLY thing people are sick with is this virus.
And also I have always questioned the demand for folks to work sick with any symptoms such as Ed described. That mentality has helped in the beginning to spread this particular virus. The really scary part has to be the symptoms are so similar. If you have them it must be difficult to stay positive no matter what percentages are and such. Get better dude!

Really annoyed! Spent all day in the 97.8-98.6 range. Hoped I'd broken the fever. At 4:10, it crept back up to 99.5! One kid has symptoms, being autistic (high functioning) he doesn't really understand the ramifications. My daughter has come down with a cold, and the wife has a fever and the runs, which is scaring the daylights out of me, but I can't say anything.
***! This is scary.

They are, a little. Where I'm scared is that my wife is a kidney transplant recipient, she has to take anti-rejection medications. Which make her open to infections. The last one she thought was a toothache turned out to be a blood infection that nearly killed her! She's between 99 & 100 now. I told her, 103 and we call 911!

Ed. I am the LAST guy who thinks panic is a good thing and I ALWAYS preach caution.
If there is ANY chance that she could have had contact through you then please don't wait for the fever to be 103. She is compromised simply because of the transplant. I don't think anyone would begrudge her going for the test, or thinking it was too cautious. This is not a situation to try and tough it out! At 52 and in good health I would wait personally. Things are different individually. Just knowing can put the family at ease. Good luck.
