I was wondering what the best source would be for the cleanest, most (apparently) procedure-less equivoque/elimination down to one force card. I'm not looking for the method, just the source where I can look/research the suggestion.

Thanks very much.

“7” in The Safwan Papers by Bryn Reynolds (Mind Hunter here at the Café)
I also like the process in Inferno by Joshua Jay

But there is always a bit of procedure using an equivoque. It is learning how to make it seem as if there is no procedure that takes practice. I would suggest the DVD Multiplicity by Max Maven.

Thanks, Wravyn...I'm glad others have thought the same...

The whole book is only $10 right now, so cheap enough to have a look to see if it works for you....(plus, you may actually find some value in the other effects as well......

Max Maven has a great force, using 3 cards (or objects).
I believe it is on his Videomind DVD.
It might not be attributed to him, but I am sure I have seen it on this DVD.

The "force" is choice of one-of-three.
No matter what the selection, the spectator is always left with the "correct choice".
Psychological play, very clever.

Greg Arce has also published a nice process in his routine “Scorched.” It has a different script from 7, but gets to the same place: a single card with all choices seemingly made by the participants. I can’t recall which of his booklets this was in, but he’s a member, so might be able to tell you.

However, the price of Safwan Papers right now is low enough that it is well worth just picking it up. I don’t think either 7 or Scorched is empirically better than the other, just a bit different.
