My question,do you think there is soemthing edited out with regard Simon picking the name?I wouldnt want to risk my entire act on the chance he picks the correct one(however strong that chance maybe).

Let me start by saying the trick was awesome what a great idea and fantastic presentation. IMHO it was kind of a psychological play. Mentioning his son first, and his sons birthday coming up, and his sons birthday list. THAN asking Simon to write the name of some one important to him on the card. At that point I feel like he must have had 2 different sets of patter ready to get him to the final reveal in a cohesive way. 1 for if simon wrote his sons name on the card (that’s the one we saw) and 1 for if simon wrote any other name on the card.

You guys are overthinking this. He'll have just said to Simon, pre-show, either in person or via a producer, "Please say Eric - it'll be much better."

Job done. Simon wants it to be awesome: it's his show after all.

I loved the act. Truly loved it. Digital Force Bag, plus Card To Wallet (expertly done). If ever you needed a demonstration of the dictum "It's not the tricks, it's you," then this is it.

We don’t use pre-show on BGT. Compliance rules are completely different in the UK compared to the US. I personally hate pre-show on TV.

Latest magician to appear on the show,and strangely, claims this illusion is his creation and only one of its kind in the world! He also received a standing ovation on the show..From Twitter comments he went down well with public also.
