Extremely kind sir and always a pleasure to help!
Best Wishes Michael
As a mentalist you must always ask yourself what if! And throughout your life you should seek to ask and answer this question over and over again, only then will your wildest dreams become a reality!

I ordered the books as soon as they were available on Vanishing Inc and they were delivered last night. They look awesome, but the content seems really easy to read (based on a quick glance of the first page). Can't wait for the weekend to read some pages of it.
Thank you again Phedon for your creation. |

I discovered the first time Phedon in tv show from Uri Geller, long long time ago. After almost 10 years if I am not wrong, I saw him bringing to Alakazam Proteus. I saw the trailer and thought to my self, "well that´s easy to do, Peter told him already before recording, what he was going to think, but anyway I read the magic Café and saw so many magicians amazed by that book. I purchased and contacted here on the Café Phedon, he was so kind to perform proteus on me twice and I was amazed. I literally learnd this system and I have no idea how many times I aleady heard the word, "this is not possible"He was so honest with me to even telling me, to not buy Sybil, as this was more cold reading advanced staff and if I wanted to start with mentalism, I should have by mind mysteries from Osterlind. Wow what a great advices, I study and continue to study mentalism and in the mean time, heard back from Phedon. He told me to think about one letter and nailed down to exactly what animals I was thinking of with the letter I only had in my mind. I was really speechless, it was like if 27 years of magic I followed, just brocke to this greek mentalist. I told me on that day that a book was in working and he would explain this routine. I didn´t have the money to purchase it, so decided to take a credit, yes just to get his book with a promise, this would be the last effect I will and can buy. I started to read yesterday the first 50 pages, as I want to follow Phedon advice to learn routine for routine and go to the next one, only after I get all the subtilities. I hope Phedon you can contact me to see the lecture you talk about in the book, just to see how you perform Phasma live. I can only give my honest opinion on the first 50 pages, when this book will be out of production, people will pay for it at least 4 to 5 thousand of dollars to get it. Here there is no mentalism, no tecniquem here is a revolution. It doens´t kill the spectator, it hold them without breath. I started at 22:00 reading and was at 3 am and just couldn´t stop to go back and read again and asking my self, How? How does this man take this risk to release what for him would have stay the greatest effect prop-less you could ever perform. I read and followed a lot of other Mentalist, don´t want to write any names and compare them to Phedon. Each of them are great in their way, but the way how Phedon explain a concept and you read is book, is like having him next to you and get hours and hours of coaching one to one. If you read this post and in general you still think of purchasing this book but hold back, as I did, because of the price. This book will teach you something that if you are serious and giving the time and effort this book deserves, you will get this money more than 100 times back. Phedon my friend, with Orion you change the world of a lot of magicians, thanks for this great gift

What a book! Been on the fence for a while on this as I am far from a pro. And while I am always enticed by exclusive, beautiful, collectible books like this that contain prized secrets, I, just wasn't sure if I would really get the mileage out of it being that I am truly more of a casual performer/enthusiast.
I had read PROTEUS and loved everything about it. Was simple, direct, and fairly easy to do. Best of all...it actually worked! Even better was Phedon. Who is like a gentle sage guiding you through the teachings, nuances, etc. Great teacher and seems like a genuinely kind soul. At his advice for ORION, I am taking it slow. So not too far into things. And Really digesting the Restricted Imagery section and supplements, turning it over in my head, before continuing. But this alone has me floored. It's like Proteus without the questions. So much more simple and direct. So much more meaningful in the way it will connect. RI will definitely replace it for me. And now I have so many different ways to consider presenting it, revealing, connecting etc. Truly incredible. While, like many on this thread, I am a huge Phedon fanboy myself, I avoided SYBIL, because it was more geared to readings (which I didn't think would be practical for my everyday situations). I went into ORION a bit hesitant since it was stated that many of the aspects of SYBIL would apply here. And to perhaps avoid ORION if that was an issue. This kept me on the fence. With that said, and at least so far, I realize now I had nothing to fear. The reading aspects are more of a nuance. A style. To help make the effect more meaningful to the spec. Make it more of a real connection in an authentic manner. Again, maybe it gets more intense later but there is nothing so far that is a turn off in this sense. It's actually quite an eye opener on how these nuances and connections you make with the spec can make such a difference. And take an already impressive effect on its own, to a higher level. That's the power of ORION. Using mind blowing principles to perform absolute miracles. With the style and nuance to really connect. Who knows, I may give SYBIL a go when I am done savoring ORION (which will take a while!). So rather than saying avoid ORION if you don't like SYBIL, I would just say, if you like Phedon's style and thinking overall... than you will be right at home (you can dial things up or down from there). If you like Proteus...just you wait. I am excited to dig into ORION more and reveal all of its brilliance. Thank you Phedon. |

Almost done with The Hunter. I really enjoy reading and rereading everything. Definitely a more playful yet confident, no nonsense tone which I really like.
Funny as I was reading through the Phasmatic Names section, I was wondering what your thought would be in using RI to get the platform word for the Phasmatic Names routines. Lo and behold, As I got a little further, I saw there was a routine for exactly that! There's an embarrassment of riches in Orion..and I'm only on Book 1! |

I haven't personally uploaded anything, as I never think of filming performances (at least, of the material taught in this project). The reason is that I always associate filming with magic (as opposed to mentalism). My performances being carried out in a very personal and private environment and context, the very presence of a camera would pervert the whole experience and would even prevent the connection I'm aiming at, from occurring. To have an idea however, you can watch Sibyl. This project will not demonstrate the material within Orion, but will definitely showcase HOW it is performed. Hope that helped. Phedon

Can anyone suggest if this book is fit for beginner who just starting out in mentalism?

@MorrisCH,
I would say no, Orion is NOT for a beginner. There are many threads here about getting started in Mentalism, so I won't go into details because others have said it better than I ever could. Good luck on your path!! Dave |
