Sean did a great performance on this week's BGT

https://youtu.be/Y-H_7bI23RM

I am sure we will see more of him in the semi final

(Whenever that happens)

The card trick itself was pretty average... but...

That incredibly bold time trick was really smart. If he can think of more creative stuff like that, he's sure to do well

Is that his idea, or is it a marketed effect/app?

It's Timeline: https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......orum=218

And looks like the card trick was maybe an ID that was switched in or something...

I don't understand the rationale of a magician performing tricks that are readily available for purchase on national television, let alone when its a trick they didn't even invent themselves.

While it looks Triumph-like, feels more like there may have been an ID switched in for the mixed up deck (it's a little tough to tell from the edit, but he does put the mixed up deck down, so I'm guessing there was a switch). But that makes the effect seem a lot more impressive to spectators.

In this case, he did create a pretty good routine to go with it, mixing in a few ideas, that seemed to really impact the crowd and the judges...

I do agree with you. I do think Sean did a great job of choreographing the entire act and everything flows well and going back in time makes perfect sense. I don't think we all have to be original but using original presentation idea and make it your own is the key in my opinion.

I’m sorry but the Time trick is just to obvious for words I’m surprised Simon didn’t pick him up on it

It’s already been exposed on YouTube. Forget performing this in the U.K. from now on. A quick search tells you everything.

I wouldnt think that matters,a lot of things are exposed on youtube, spectators have short memories but personally I hate phone/app tricks with a passion, they seem obvious.
