The event is happening in Taiwan, and they are 15 hours ahead of Pacific time. So, it should be May 30 at 7pm Pacific time.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

What kind of mentalist are you if you can't figure it out yourself? Smile

1.) I'm not a Mentalist; but one of my puppets are/is.

2.) I'm at work (government network) so YouTube and Instagram are blocked.

3.) I thought it was a valid question (for most).

It was a valid question. I was making a joke (hence including this: Smile )

Ah... explaining the joke afterwards always makes it so much more humorous...

I'm going to miss out on this one since I will be stuck at work for the whole time window. I like the concept though.

Heh. I didn't *want* to explain the joke. I did so because you appeared to have misread it and gotten angry. So I am sorry that my joke was apparently unclear, and you thought it was attacking you. That wasn't my intention.

Literally: I thought your question was exactly right and that it was weird to post a time without the time zone on a notoriously global message board. So, to add to your very valid question, I made a little joke, because this is a board populated by many mentalists, suggesting that we should all have to figure out the time zones through our "mental" powers. The only reason I'm explaining myself now is because it seems to have upset you -- both the initial joke, and my attempt to explain myself, which I now am doing again.

So, to be clear: I am sorry. It was a joke that was meant in support of your question, and the only reason I explained it was not to make it "funny" but to let you know that I wasn't attacking you in the first place.

And this has now gone on way too long. So I am sorry again.

I watched some of it and the parts I could follow were great. Most of it was in Mandarin, and while I have spent some time in Taiwan, and know a *little* Mandarin, I'm not fluent and can only pick up bits and pieces). But Joe Rindfleisch gave a quick tutorial on Dyno, Max Maven taught a simple effect that can be performed for groups over video (frankly, I thought that effect as is was kind of weak, but you could build on the principle and do a lot more -- he also said he's working on a whole video of remote magic effects, which should be fun). Kevin Li revealed some cool stuff (though, not necessarily that practical for every day magicians, but neat to learn) and Shin Lim's interview was super fun (he taught a few simple moves, but just gave a really interesting interview).
