Lately I've been exploring some gambling demonstration tricks (whether real or simulated). Someone asked me a question, and it led me down the path of research with my magic library, which is always a desirable outcome.
I thought I'd check here - what are some of your favorites in this vein? Here's a clip of one of the latest ones I found from an unlikely source... https://youtu.be/d5JsDe9BWpc |

"The Gardner-Marlo Poker Routine" by Martin Gardner and Ed Marlo
"The Adequate Cardshark" by Steven Youell (an alternative to Darwin Ortiz's "Ultimate Cardshark") "Fast Stack" by Martin Nash (A demonstration of card control, that all gambling demos are anyway.) "Portent Aces" by Steve Draun (The ability to cut to the aces in a shuffled deck.) All the above have the ability to survive the dreaded question "Let me see the deck!" if a spectator is so inclined to ask, the Trost effect you chose to demo does not. (One of my criteria.) Cheers!

"Lesson In Larceny" - Terry LaGerould in Pasteboard Presentations.
Also "Cardial Infraction" from Tesseract. "Cardial Infraction" goes from a five handed game in which the dealer gets the four aces to a second round in which the dealer gets a Royal Flush. Round 1 uses Nash's "Fast Stack" formula for five hands. Round 2 segues into a royal flush. Mike
